Our Offerings

Honey

We offer raw, never heated, honey from our untreated hives in rural Southern Illinois. Our apiary is surrounded by lush forest and paddocks where livestock are rotated. Our bees have access to a variety of wildflowers and other blooms spring through early fall.

Handmade Creations

Much like the honeybee dutifully visiting each blossom, needle felting is a fiber by fiber, slow going art form. Tiny pollinators are carefully created with love from natural wool fibers.

Swarm Relocation

A swarm is a beehive's way of reproducing. Its a natural process that healthy hives do to spread their genetics. Sometimes these swarms end up in residential areas and can cause quite a commotion. When this happens we offer our swarm relocation services completely free!

Natural Beeswax Candles

Our American sourced pure beeswax candles are handcrafted in our cozy kitchen by our beekeeper tucked away in the woods. The whole house smells like a beehive as these candles are carefully crafted with love and intention.

Supporting Pollinators

Solitary native bees find vital shelter to overwinter and raise their young in our Pollinator Hotels. Made from untreated wood sourced from fallen trees on our property, these hotels make a beautiful, impactful addition to any garden or patio.

Garden Design and Installation

A garden is not only beautiful, but also invites pollinators and wildlife alike to your backyard. Whether you want a simple flower bed or a full pollinator garden installed we can help you make it happen. Lets create an unbroken chain of resources for our pollinators. Fill out the form below and message "Pollinator" to schedule your free consultation.

FAQs

What is treatment free beekeeping?

Treatment free can have a range of meanings, but to us its simple we don't use harsh chemicals. We do intervene by removing pests such as hive moth larva by hand, or by placing traps for small hive beetles.

Do you do any public speaking?

Absolutely! We love talking about bees and other pollinators. If you would like us to speak at your event, club, etc please "get in touch" below and we will get back with you ASAP! Spreading the word about pollinators and sharing a love for nature is our true passion.

Do you have honey year round?

No, unfortunately we do not sell honey year round. We practice beekeeping in a way that we only take whats extra. This means we do two to three major extractions a year and leave the rest for the bees.

Do you offer any other services?

Yes! We also do beehive cut outs for a fee. We offer a variety of flower seeds, and later in the season we will offer cut flowers. Be on the lookout for our product line to expand as we are still growing.

Can you teach me about bees?

Absolutely! Feel free to fill out the form below with the message "volunteer" and come visit our apiary and flower farm. If you would like more specialized assistance in your apiary we offer these services for a fee. Inquire below "beginner beekeeper" for more info!

Is there any circumstance you would treat your bees?

Yes, in the instance that my bees contracted European Fowl Brood I would administer antibiotic treatment. You can expect transparency if that ever happens.
